We make these premium strings in the old way using a smaller diameter core wire and larger diameter of expensive pure nickel wrap wire. The result is lower tension wound strings with great "feel" , which have brilliance and the warmth of pure nickel. Our pure nickel hand wounds produce an excellent tone and timbre, great for all types and styles of music.
