4 really cool 1940s/50s Walthers assembled wood & metal kits, one gondola (B&O), one quadhopper (B&O), one twin hopper (Virginian), one reefer (Santa Fe/El Capitan) These are already assembled and painted kits, they may need some touch ups and/or parts replaced, selling as-is.
Both B&O gondola & twin hopper need one coupler replaced. The gondola is missing an outside brace on one side. Santa Fe reefer needs a set of trucks. The Virginian twin hopper seems ready to rock 'n' roll. Maybe other imperfections.
Real good quality and construction, these kits are made of a combination of wood & metal parts.
The boxes are in very as is condition. No guarantee that they will arrive in the same condition as photographed as they are in poor condition.
These wood kits are great and along with metal, they are preferred in our personal collection. Though we appreciate many of the plastic locos and rolling stock, these have a much more realistic presence and sound rolling down the tracks, and heavier than the plastic specimens.
