I own an advertising specialty company - now in our 47th year I am happy to report - and I worked in the industry for many years prior to establishing my own firm.   For a long time my best client was what was formerly known as "The Bell System".   Of course after divestiture it was broken up into what was generally called the "Baby Bells" - and later morphed into many variations. So over the years we worked very closely with Western Electric, AT&T, Southern Bell, Bellsouth,  Bell South International, Lucent Technologies, OFS, Avaya, etc.   I collected many over-run samples, one-of-a-kind spec samples, and the likes. I am now selling much of that collection via eBay.  Here is an unusual collection of 12 different gifts we sold to AT&T in the 1990's.   However, these were over-run samples, never used, and in as new condition!   All have been kept in sealed containers in one of our climate controlled sample rooms.   And here is what the fortunate buyer will receive: A.   Hand fans were not really a big sales item in the 1990's as often they were not necessary.   In the early '90's AT&T wanted a custom shaped hand fan to promote a service called "10-ATT".   We did not sell them many of these, so this is a somewhat rare AT&T piece of advertising - made in the U.S.A. B.    Anixter was a business partner with AT&T, and a popular AT&T line of the day was the "Systimax SCS" that Anixter sold.  Here is a pair of coasters in genuine suede russet leather.   The copy is "branded" into the leather, and they were made in the U.S.A.    C.   We sold AT&T a variety of gifts for gold, and here are a couple.   First is a "Golfaide" tool in chrome steel.   The AT&T logo is actually die-stamped into the tool.   This handy golfers item tightened cleats, replaced divots, could hold the handle of the club up if it needed to be placed upon the green, and more.   This fine tool was U.S.A. made by the W.E. Bassett Company. D.   Golf tee & markers were popular.   This set included four wood tees, each imprinted "AT&T", a logoed marker, and all in a handy package.   Also U.S.A. made. E.   Terry headband with two color logo.   This was more for tennis rather than golf.   U.S.A. made as well. F.   Three color luggage tag, size 2.25" x 4" with strap.   U.S.A. manufactured. G.   We sold AT&T many different lapel pins.   This one incorporates a special design done for the Atlanta Works for an internal program called "Quality Work Life" - or "QWL".   It is in Cloisonné and enamel, and U.S.A. made. H.   Mechanical pencil in burgundy with grey AT&T logo.   This handy writing instrument features a top-action lead feed.   U.S.A. made. I.   Shoe string set, 38" long.   One features an echo-ad of just the AT&T logo, and the other AT&T Communications.   Made in the U.S.A. J.   Balloon in the rare color of red, with black logo.   U.S.A. made too. K.   Snap handle plastic bag with the logo on both sides.   This bag is a sturdy double wall design in size 12" x 10" x 4".   Also made in the U.S.A. L.   Plastic bag, size 11" x 14", double wall with insert handle.   U.S.A. made. Although these items are from the 1990's, they have never been used.   They are outstanding in as new condition.   The finishes are fantastic!   Each will be well packaged to insure safe delivery. And NOTE:   EVERY ITEM IS MADE IN THE U.S.A.!!!    What an unusual situation - An excellent addition to anyone who worked at AT&T or collects old Bell System memorabilia.     A very rare find for sure.
