On offer is an Open Sugar Bowl or Preserve Pot, decorated with the Twintone Seagull pattern, made by Poole Pottery Dorset England in the 1960-70s.
The Seagull pattern is a mottled light grey and was common to the Twintone ranges of C50 Pink and Seagull, C57 Ice Green and Seagull, C67 Celadon and Seagull, C97 Peach Bloom and Seagull, C103 Lime Yellow and Seagull. It is dishwasher and microwave safe.
The bowl is 7.5cm tall 7cm deep by 9cm in diameter, 6.5cm across the rim and is in good condition free from chips or cracks. On the underside is the printed Poole mark number 41 in use between 1959 & 1967. The unpackaged weight is 229 grams.

A nick is a tiny bit of damage smaller than 1mm and a chip is something you can see with the eye; a hairline runs over the surface glazing but not the body of the item and a crack runs through the body of the item, usually weakening its structure.
