C'est une bague qui, passée au doigt d'une dame, lui fait dire tout haut ce que l'on pense en général tout bas et encore plus bas que tout bas dans le bas du bas. Voici ce qu'elle fait dire à la belle Cypria, ornement de la cour de Mangogul: "Duxit me Viennam in Austriâ patriam suam, ubi venereâ voluptate, quantâ maximâ poteram, ingurgitatus sum, per menses tres integros ejus splendidè nimis epulatus hospes. Illi, rugosi et contracti Lotharingo more colei, et eo usquè longa, crassaque mentula, ut dimidiam nondùm acciperem, quamvis iterato coïtu fractus rictus mihi miserè pateret. Immanem ast usu frequenti v*gina tandem admisit laxè gladium. Modô me resupinum agitabat; modô etc."

French language edition of Diderot's novel, originally published in 1748.  

CONDITION: Light wear to covers, age-toning, some bumping at corners. Binding tight; spine uncreased. Interior is age-toned as is typical with these Folio editions. A very good copy overall.
