AMRAD RFI choke blocks common mode currents in end fed antenna designs. This choke is made of five TDK ZCAT ferrites (comparable to Fair-Rite #31) to reduce or eliminate radio frequency interference carried by the coax cable.  At 100 grams (3.5 ounces) it is a cost-effective, lightweight version of the RFI Choke.

The choke is 20 cm (8 in) of RG-58 with UHF male to female connectors so you can use it inline without a coupler and can be installed at either of the antenna feed or going into the tuner. Improve performance of your EFHW.

31 ferrite is designed for RF suppression and electromagnetic interference filtering 1 - 300 MHz, and works well for HF and low VHF frequencies. Compared to other ferrite materials, 43 is better for 30 - 300 MHz and 61 handles higher frequencies, up to 2 GHz.

Maximum power handling is 150W SSB or 50W CW.

BNC connector model is also available.

Ferrites are verified from manufacturer TDK and sourced from Mouser, since quality control matters.
