This lovely Merck Family's Old World Christmas Ornament (OWC) features a Basket of Roses with "For You" scrolled across the front.  This romantic ornament just might touch that "special someone's heart".  There is a red  bow one the reverse side of the ornament that is highlighted with gold colored glitter.  The Merck Family's Old World Christmas (OWC) is one of the leading distributors of the world's best loved collections of mouth blown figural glass ornaments.  Each figural glass ornament produced for the Merck Family's Old World Christmas is hand crafted. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted with special bent brushes through tiny openings, and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve their beautiful creations. The intricate inside painting of each ornament can take several weeks to complete.  No two pieces are identical.  This 2004 "For You" Rose Basket is just one of the Merck Family’s Old World Christmas Ornaments.  It has the heart shaped OWC charm and story cord attached to the top of the ornament.  The ornament comes in it’s own original cloth covered, satin lined box.  This is a highly desirable ornament as Merck Family’s Old World Christmas has discontinued their line of inside art ornaments.  Photos attached to the listing are images of the actual item, not stock photos, and are considered a part of the description and condition of the item.  Please check out the rest of our store as we are continually adding too our inventory.  Thank you for looking.
