It’s clearly hand made and rock solid. Heavy and robust and built to last. It weighs around 8kg and is hinged and lidded and I would call it an ottoman. Someone has clearly done the upholstery themselves by hand and you may want to tidy it up with some scissors on the inside of the lid if you check all the photos. The fabric is in rather good condition and I can’t see any marks. It’s just a lovely thing.
