ORANGE ECLIPSE

DESCRIPTION: Tavolo lamp, can also be installed on the wall. Painted metal structure.

Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and became the representative of Italian design in the world.   

Eclisse is an object in perfect balance between form and function, between design and utility. 

At the basis of the project is its function of regulating the intensity of the light through the internal rotating hemispherical lens hood which "eclipses" the light source. 

In fact, with a fixed external part and a rotating internal part, the lamp can provide direct or soft light. 

Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of the most important design museums, including the MoMa in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
