Vintage Heinrich Hofmann Litho Print from Jesus Christ & The Rich Young Ruler 5"

This gorgeous reduced size lithograph portrait of Christ from Heinrich Hofmann's "Christ And The Rich Young Ruler" painting will make a great addition to your vintage religious collection. It features a SMALL full color litho portrait detail of Christ looking to his left and is framed in a vintage period pressed tin metal frame with a faux grain printed surface. The print is marked in the lower right corner "LITHO IN U.S." and is ready to hang. It does have wear including surface finish loss on the metal frame, rust, patina, tarnish, scratches and more so PLEASE read complete details below and review photos closely for condition. ITEM DETAILS:

  • Approximate weight is 3 ozs total
  • Measures approximately .25" x 4.125" x 5.125" overall including the frame
  • Condition: In antique or vintage pre-owned used condition with wear including rusted areas on the metal frame, scratches, dents, dings, scuffing, scratches/wear on the glass surface, tears/rips/stains/watermarks on the paperboard backing (however stains have not bled through to the print), dulling, fading, dents, dings, dirt, dust, grime, fingerprints, the frame is not perfectly square at the corners due to how it is made (it is a pressed metal form that folds together and clips at the bottom right corner), patina, tarnish, imprint/finish loss on the metal frame, dulling, darkening, the frame is "wiggly" around the glass due to how it is made, the corners of the frame are dented and have gaps which are original, sharp corners, the corners of the glass are chipped/worn, stains, discoloring, and overall wear from age and handling.   • Age/era: Unknown, I am guessing that it was made pre-1960 but I cannot guarantee
  • Origin: The print was made in the USA, I do not know where the metal frame & other components were made
  • Marks: Print is marked LITHO IN U.S. in bottom right corner which is hidden by the frame
  • Materials: Paper litho print, cardboard spacer, paperboard backing/hanger, glass, unknown tin style pressed metal frame with painted finish
