Here are some tips for washing a wig:

Brush

Before washing, gently brush the wig to remove any tangles.

Shampoo

Use a small amount of wig shampoo designed for the type of wig you have. Work the shampoo through the wig, keeping the hair moving in the same direction.

Rinse

Rinse the wig with cool water, running the water in the direction of the hair.

Condition

Apply a small amount of conditioner to the wig and work it through. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.

Dry

Place the wig on a wig stand and let it air dry. You can also use a blow dryer on human hair wigs, but keep the heat setting low. For synthetic wigs, you can dab the wig with a towel until it's slightly dry and no longer dripping. Then leave it to dry naturally, out of direct sunlight.

Wash the cap

If the wig has a cap, you can wash it with the same shampoo you used for the hair. Use your fingers to gently move in circles to remove debris and odors
