I have for sale an antique carved 19th century large layered Pennsylvania tramp art frame.
The frame comes with a vintage, Horace Pippin, The Holy Mountain III, print. As you can see in the photo from the back that a small portion of the top of the print is folded back behind the frame. This area also has some fraying at the edges of the print. Finally, towards the bottom you can see a couple mild crinkles in the print. You can see an example of the folded print in the second-to-last photo above, and the crinkling in the (7th) photo above..
There are (9) total layers at the thickest parts of the frame. Some areas have the little 9th layer square missing, and there is a small strip missing on the top-side. You, can see an example of this in the final photo above, at the left corner. I have provided over (80) enlarged photos below to give you a very thorough view of the frame and print.
There are a couple minor missing strips of tramp art here and there, but it is all extremely minimal, and the frame displays exceptionally well. Please, use all the photos below for a much more thorough description.
Size: 33" x 27" x 2" (Frame) 27" x 21" (Exposed Print / Opening) Weight: 6 1/2lbs (Approx.)
