Can I still use my physical wall keypad to arm and disarm?
Yes, absolutely! That is the core design of the Notifier Kit. It does not alter how your system functions on a day-to-day basis. You type in your pin or use your proximity tags at your wall keypad exactly like you do right now. The smart board simply monitors in the background to alert your phone if the siren triggers.
Can I remotely arm or disarm my system from the app with this kit?
No. Because this kit leaves your existing traditional control panel and keypads completely intact, it cannot change the state of your old system remotely. It is strictly designed to give you smart visibility and alerts when you are away from the premises. Does it tell me exactly which room sensor triggered the alarm?
The standard Notifier setup tells you instantly that the overall alarm has been triggered or silenced. It acts as a global smart bridge for your system. If you want granular, individual zone tracking (e.g., seeing specifically that the "Back Door Contact" or "Workshop PIR" triggered), you will want to look at our full Conversion Kit which wires directly into each individual zone.
