Up for sale a Wallace Silversmiths Art Deco octagonal shaped 2 piece tea set circa 1930's. The set consists of a creamer and lidded sugar bowl. Each of the 2 tea set pieces is raised on an octagonal base which corresponds to the shape of each tea set item.
Quite stylish with a great Art Deco look. The creamer measures 3.5" H x 6" handle to spout. The covered sugar bowl measures 5.5" H x 6.5" handle to handle. Each piece has an engraved monogram of the initials SAS.
Each piece is marked as shown with the Wallace silverplate mark, NS for nickel silver and 3104N the pattern number. Antique condition with normal signs of age, wear and use and not a lot of tarnish to exterior and interior.
Very hard to photograph to show some dings in the underside. About 3 small ones on creamer and 2 on sugar side. Overall in very good condition and not very tarnished.
