This Antique Fish Fork and Knife Set by William Hutton & Sons, crafted circa 1900. This complete set includes 24 pieces as well as its original case, showcasing the artistry and quality that made Hutton a respected name in silverware. The silver-plated utensils feature intricately designed blades and tines with the knives having an engraved design of a Great Blue Heron and the forks having an engraved design of a Flower. They’re designed perfectly for serving fish, while the Bakelite handles offer a stylish and comfortable grip. The condition of these items is good for it age. The bakelite handles do have cracks in some of the handles while the silver plated metal parts are a little tarnished but with some polish can look like brand new again. The set’s case is a little scratched which is normal for being an antique. This item also has a crack in the lid measuring 3 in log on the top left of the lid. The lid does have a felted bottom so it doesn’t scratch any surfaces. Please look at the images for more close up photos of the item’s condition.
