Since its foundation in 1910, the family owned enterprise SELTMANN WEIDEN

has produced hard porcelain “Made in Germany”, fired at 1450 ºC / 2642 ºF, which offers the following advantages:

• Lead- and cadmium-free according to the directives of the State of California – USA
• Surface up to 5 times more resistant to use
• Bottoms ground perfectly even to prevent our products from wobbling on smooth surfaces
• Bottoms polished perfectly smooth by means of diamonds; therefore no scratching of sensitive surfaces by our porcelain products
• Extremely hard porcelain with highly break-proof edges
• Dishwasher- and microwave-proof (exception: top quality products containing precious metals) as well as salamander-proof
