A roller tunematic bridge is a great choice for a bridge used on a guitar with a tailpiece, such as a Bigsby. They can also be used in combination with a stopbar tailpiece.

The roller saddles allow the strings to move across the bridge where they would usually get caught on a standard bridge. This improves tuning stability and tremolo performance.

There are three main types of Tunematic (or Tune-o-matic) bridges that have been used on Gibson® guitars and other brands over the years. The easiest way to find which bridge will suit your guitar is by visual inspection and by checking the inserts that go into the body of the guitar to anchor the bridge.

Tunematic with studs & bushings – 7/16” (11.2mm) dia bushings push into the body, threaded studs screw into these to attach the bridge - Gotoh GE-103BT Model

ABR-1 Tunematic – Has thin 4mm dia threaded posts like a standard Tunematic, the original bridges have a retainer wire to hold the saddles in place - Gotoh GE-104B Model
