This is a brand new (old stock) motor. Completely un-used, shipped from the factory in the 90's and stored safely since at the legendary Rogue music store in New York City. I received this as partial payment for doing some cassette multitrack repair work for them.

A new motor means new brushes, clean new commutator, and un-used internal components...which translates to less wow and flutter and better analog recording.
