*Signal Through System refers to a continuous path between input and output giving the option to link the vu in series in any position you want before amplifier. In this way you can pass the stereo audio signal through the VU Meters and with another pair of RCA continue the signal to the amplifier or audio system input. Basically the input and output is connected and a part of the signal is triggering the meter. I leave you to experiment. A beautiful VU meter and colour witch can give you mood in the room, recording studio, or other setups.

The signal from an amplifier will be too much. These meters have the role to monitor up to +3 Db RMS. Is not intended to measure the power of an amplifier. It Is intended to be taken as precision studio measurement of the audio level. Each channel can be adjusted from outside with a very small 10 turn precision screw. Is for music lovers and audio lovers as well. The famous VU meter...the real thing.
