French Baroque Style Ornate Gold Brass Twin Arm Large Wall Candle Scone

 

This is well-made hanging twin arm 2 candle candelabra or wall sconce. The décor consists of stylized acanthus scrolls intertwined with the Rococo style. Decorative details made of gold brass are decorated with three-dimensional patterns of complex structure with twisted branches and lavish lily shaped candle holders. Ornate floral design brass work, good quality.  Incredibly elegant, timeless, so French provincial.

This treasure is approx.:  18” Tall x 14” Wide

 

Good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age and use. Very heavy, very sturdy, and hefty in constitution. A quality casting. It has two small holes at rear to hang the sconce on the wall. There is some tarnish on the back.
