DESCRIPTION: Here is a mid 19th century Sclaggenwald Lippert & Haas hand made porcelain dessert plate. Hand painted with floral and swag decoration that includes pink roses, red, yellow, purple and blue flowers with green leaves set within a mainly gilt scroll pattern. It has a wide gilt band to the inside top rim. Marked to the base with an impressed Lippert & Haas in Schaggenwald and 879 over 24. Dates to 1832 to 1847.

SIZE: The plate measures 23.6 cm in diameter. Weighs 455 g before packing.

CONDITION:  No chips,cracks or restoration. The plate is hand made and is misshapen. Some gilt ware to the central pattern, some light gilt ware to the bowl and some gilt ware to the thin gilt band between the bowl and border. The wide gilt band to the inner top rim has some all round ware.
