5 x Vintage SIKU Construction Vehicles  |  Made in Germany

No dispatch between Dec 21-Jan 3
  • Rare vintage collection, Made in Germany.
  • Expensive toys purchased from Hemley's over a decade ago; current new series are now Made in China.
  • Exudes quality, superb craftsmanship, realistic, great details.
Very good condition overall, lightly played and mainly on display, with a few minor blemishes associated with wear & tear, all moving parts are functional as intended.

This German made collection is constructed of die cast metal & robust plastic, the scale is possibly 1:87 but I cannot guarantee accuracy, please see given measurements.
  1. Cement Mixer - with a hard to source rare YELLOW barrel, Mercedes Benz logo, about 7.5cm long.
  2. Refuse / Garbage Truck - with a Mercedes Benz logo, current version is Scania; about 8cm long.
  3. Tipper Truck - about 8cm long.
  4. Tow Truck - about 7.5cm long.
  5. Mega Lifter Crane - about 17cm long, hook is missing.
As with all pre-loved toys, there may be some sign of cosmetic wear as one should expect; unless the defect is severe or hinders the function, I feel not obligated to report every nick and scratch of a USED TOY.

Regrettably I am having to mention this because I recently sold a wooden toy puzzle which was described as 'Very Good Used Condition', but the buyer was disappointed because there is a small chip on the paint to one piece of the puzzle, of which was clearly visible in 3 photos.

Sold as seen in photos, please carefully examine them as they form part of the description, any questions please ask before buying.  Thanks for looking.

I am currently clearing out my son's preloved toys, generally in lightly to seldom played condition, some may have only been on display.
Siku, Corgi, Hotwheels, Batmobiles, Maisto, Matchbox, Welly, Tomica

2nd hand garments and accessories (new & used)

I will pack the garment very well, but it may arrive with some wrinkles due to being folded in transit.

With exception of NEW items and dry clean only garments, they are laundered and air dried prior to the listing and then stored away in a clean environment until sold.

I never use any fabric conditioner as this impacts negatively on the environment and also very damaging to the fabric, especially the kind used for outdoor / waterproof garments, fleece garments and school uniforms.

Unless you buy brand new from a retailer, it is a fact that most 2nd hand garments and accessories (new or used) may typically have some degree of 'smell' from various substances which may commonly include laundry detergent, fabric conditioner, perfume, anti-static dryer sheets, air / room / wardrobe freshener, moth repellent, potpourri sachet, etc.  Any 'smell’ of this nature is always temporarily more elevated when the item has been completely confined and sealed inside a plastic bag during transit, and anyone not used to a new smell may find it extra pungent.   Such ''SMELL' is subjective to each individual, even if you may not be keen of it, it is not a case of ‘Defect, damaged' or 'Not as Described'.  To neutralise any smell, I have found that the combination of laundering and airing out  is usually an effective measure, which is also a hygienic general practice to treat 2nd hand garments before wearing.   If you cannot accept this typical condition as part of purchasing 2nd hand, please buy brand new from a retailer instead.
