- The material is grade 5 titanium, most widely used titanium alloy. (Ti-6Al-4V) also sometimes called TC4, Ti64 or ASTM. (Titanium with 6% Aluminium and 4% Vanadium) It has excellent corrosion resistance to salt water, marine atmospheres and a variety of corrosive media temperatures below 300 ° C.

- Tip: Steel bolts with an 8.8 rating can be replaced with Gr5 Titanium versions, while bolts with a 10.9 rating can potentially be replaced with Gr5 Titanium versions depending on the intended use.
