This antique copper pot is a true treasure for collectors of ancient copper items. The pot has an iron bail and features a strange script or signature on the bottom, which I dampened to help it show for the pictures, making it a unique piece that will surely impress any history enthusiast. The pot is handmade and is watertight. Made of dovetailed (cramp seam) copper, it measures approx. 9 inches across, about 5 1/2 inches tall and overall around 16 inches high from top of bail to the bottom of the bucket.  A great addition to any collection or as a decorative piece for your home. Its origin is unknown, adding to its mystery and intrigue. It could probably be polished bright, but I have left it as found with its original patina.
