This bracelet features seven cornelian shell cameos with various scenes of Roman mythology, including chariots and dogs. Sometimes called seven day bracelets or one week bracelets, the cameos are bezel set and each piece is hand carved. The frames are hand made to accommodate the cameo. The plaques have gold wire rope twist around each frame and are separated by loops for a flexible fit. The closure is tongue and groove. The bracelet is 7" long and in very good condition.

Each day of the week depicts a different mythological god and theme, including Diana, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Apollo. These bracelets were popular items for tourists.

The bracelet is marked "800". This piece is 800/1000 parts silver, or 80% silver content. "800" silver is sometimes referred to as "Continental Silver" and was frequently used throughout Europe.
