This is a lot containing a New Testament printed by the United States Government Printing Office in 1942 and a scrapbook with 157 total pictures and postcards, both belonging to Capt. Duane Baker. There are also newspaper articles and handwritten notes describing photo contents throughout. One page mentions a flight plan change that kept this man alive. There are a couple of missing pages and pictures. Some missing photo spots. Great historical content including crashed planes, sunk ships, three Eleanor Roosevelt pictures when she toured to visit soldiers. There are also wildlife photos including kangaroos, a parrot, camels, and a tiger cub. There are native photos including dancing in ceremonial attire. Locations range from USA to Gura, Eritrea, Basa, Iraq, and more. There are photos form Egyptian monuments as well.
