This exquisite teapot is a true masterpiece of Chinese artistry. With its unique pear or gourd shape and stunning vine design, it is sure to add elegance to any tea time! Crafted by hand in China, this teapot is a perfect example of the country's rich cultural heritage. The duanni clay is said to accentuate the taste of tea made in the pot.

The teapot is stamped with the Duan Ni Hulu mark, adding to its authenticity and value. Late 1980s vintage. Whether you are a collector ( this is one of a LOT I bought at auction that was a collector’s ) or simply looking for a beautiful addition to your tea set, this Yixing Zisha Gourd Pear Shape Teapot is sure to impress.

It’s in great shape! No chips or cracks. It’s has a kind of khaki-yellow ochre color ground with a teal blue-green handle, spout, top knob and 3D hand painted / glazed vining pattern on lid and body of the tea pot. It’s darling! The previous owner used some white sticky tack to keep the lid on ( probably from little hands trying to play with it). It should remain or be cleaned off ? A decision I plan to let the buyer make ; )

It measures : 4” H x 5” W x 3.25” D &

Weighs 6 OZ.
