HackFab Swerve Front Premounted Mini Oval Tires fits Losi Mini (Soft) (Silver) (2)

The Losi Mini line (Mini-T 2.0, Mini-B) has needed some more "oval" tire options for a while. We released the Haymaker for the Mini-T 2.0 rear wheel and it has been a solid performer, but racers have been asking for a "front" tire that was narrower. The Swerve front tire offers a realistic tread pattern that is ideal for the higher bite tracks but will be a good general purpose front tire option. This will look and work great on your Losi mini based EDM, Late Model, Sprint, or Midget converted oval cars. It could also be a great option for those not running oval that just want an narrow tread tire. The Swerve would also be a decent street tire. These are sold as a pair of mounted tires/foam inserts on HackFab Slipstream Front Mini Wheels. Ready to bolt up to the front of your Mini. They are currently offered in three compounds (super soft, soft, and medium). As with other tires out there - a softer tire will yield more grip, but also wear faster. We decided to also offer them with soft molded closed cell foam inserts. For those unaware, the Losi Mini-T 2.0 and Mini-B have different diameter wheels. The available "narrow" front tire options are only on Mini-B wheels. The Mini-B wheel is 2mm larger in diameter than the T wheel. It is also very narrow at around 16.5mm wide. We decided to make a front wheel as well, but it would match our Mini-T rear wheel diameter, but be wider than the current Mini-B wheels. This puts these front tires/wheels it's own category so to speak, as it is more in line with the original Losi Mini Sprint front tires (which are wider than current Mini-B options), but with the smaller diameter wheel to match the T rears.Overall diameter of these front tires are similar to the stock Mini-B tires (around 56mm - the same as the Haymaker). The width of a mounted front tire is around 22mm (a rear Haymaker is around 31mm wide).
