This Box is metal Lined with White Metal, and probably dates from the late 1800's to the early 1900's.Measuring approx. 61mm x 40mm x15mm this piece appears to be Mauchline Ware ( primarily Sycamore), or could be Sandalwood. There is a slight chipping of the lacquer finish on top of the box and normal wear on the edges.
