This is a vintage 1940’s KUTMASTER 2-Blade pocket knife that is in good condition. It measures 3.2" long closed and has a 2.25" long Clip point main blade and a 1.5" long Pen blade made of CARBON STEEL. It has small metal BOLSTERS and a BRASS LINER.

The Yellow scales look like CRACKED ICE and are in excellent condition. It has not been cleaned by me and is in as-found condition. Please see the pictures.

The tang is stamped KUTMASTER over UTICA, N.Y. over U.S.A. The Kutmaster brand is owned by the UTICA CUTLERY CO. which is still in business today. Utica started as a Funeral Casket company and began producing a line of pocket knives in 1910. In 1937 they introduced their popular KUTMASTER brand. This one was most likely made in the middle of the 20th Century, but the company lacks a definitive dating system.
