Antique 1800s German Richters Anchor Box Stone Building Set
The box slides out with elaborate color illustrated lid that houses the various shaped chalk/stone building bricks, that form various buildings correlating with each page of the pamphlet. This is set Nr. 8.
The box is still complete and in original condition. I am unable to say for sure that every piece is original, however, it appears complete. Box lifts to display has 2 separate levels of trays to build from.
The bricks are surprising in great shape one had a little chip out but rest are in nice condition.
Very rare antique 1800s Richters Anchor Box Stone Building Set instructions say no. 8, however, No. 4 & 6 pamphlets also included.
Comes with original wooden box that slides open to reveal 2 layers of blocks and the original instructions in color laid in.
The building pieces made from real stone and chalk show that this was a high end set for the time. Weighs approximately 35 lbs. Building blocks make beautiful castles, bridges, towers, cathedrals and so much more. A near fine and very rare seemingly complete early children’s building block set.
