OMICRON® Nitrocellulose Transfer (Blotting Membrane is manufactured using 100% pure nitrocellulose with free of acetate and other esters to ensure the highest protein/ nucleic acid binding capacity and smoother surface. The surface properties of the Nitrocellulose Transfer (Blotting) Membrane ensure high signal-to-noise ratios without the need for rigorous washing conditions. They have characteristic hydrophilic, biologically inert, plain, white absolute membrane filter with uniform pore structure, and consistent thickness. Uniform pore structure ensures homogeneous distribution of the particles retained on the filter surface. OMICRON® Nitrocellulose Transfer (Blotting) Membrane is available in 0.2μm & 0.45μm and are well adapted to all protein blotting systems including electro transfer, semi-dry, vacuum or simple capillary blotting. These membranes are easily blocked, wet out naturally and do not require methanol or ethanol prior to transfer.
