Instructions for Stan's 3.30, 3.30Tl Type 1 Original Version: To use the XD Driver the original 3.30/3.30Ti hub must be converted to Type Il or 12x142. The Original version Type 1 hub can be identified by threaded end caps on both sides. The Type Il hub can be identified by a press-fit non-drive side end cap. Once the end cap is removed it will expose a slotted axle as opposed to a threaded axle on the Original version hub. The Type Il hub was introduced onto 3.30 disc hubs in June 2012. The 3.30Ti Disc hubs are using the original version axle.
