DESCRIPTION:  Here is a pair of Royal Worcester ivory coloured porcelain candlesticks in the form of Roman Corinthian Pacific columns on square cantered bases. To the square top it is beaded with a gilt line to the inside and around the candle holder. To the outside it is stepped and gilt lined to each step. The sconces are relief moulded with acanthus leaves to the base an egg and small beaded pattern to the top with a thin up, around and down relief moulded pattern between. The maim column tapers and has a relief moulded spiral leaf pattern. The columns are on square cantered bases having relief moulded beading to the tops and below. Each corner to the top has a rams head holding a ribbon to form a continuous swag and with a medallion on each side.
Both are well marked each having a puce crown and circle mark with date code O for 1889 over the registration number 17050 for 1884 and shape number 1050.

SIZE:  The candlesticks measures 10 1/4 inches high and the bases measure 4 5/8  inches square. Weigh 994g before packing. 
 
CONDITION:  One base corner has a double chip approximately 2 cm long (as per pictures) and very minor gilt ware.
