Leuze HT5.1/2 Diffuse Sensor The Leuze HT5.1/2 Diffuse Sensor is a highly reliable optical sensor that uses the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression for accurate and precise object detection. The sensor operates within a guaranteed range from 0.005 to 0.4 meters, with specific ranges for white, gray, and black objects, making it suitable for various material types and surfaces. Equipped with a focused beam path and a red LED light source emitting at a wavelength of 645 nm, the sensor provides a round light spot geometry for reliable detection. The sensor operates with an NPN transistor output and utilizes a light switching principle, ensuring a stable output signal for automation and control applications. It has a 1,000 Hz switching frequency and a 0.5 ms response time, providing fast and accurate responses for high-speed operations. The HT5.1/2 sensor features an adjustable multiturn potentiometer that allows users to fine-tune the detection range from 15 mm to 400 mm, providing flexibility for diverse industrial needs.
