Beautiful antique French sheet sham / fold-over for a double bed. It's a generous size, so also suitable for a queen but would have less drop (that is approx 8-9 cm each side).  

Decorated with a hand-embroidered floral cutwork design. 

Ladder hemstitch along the border & two sides. 

White French metis (linen-cotton mix, usually 70-30%). 

Very good vintage condition - there is a small pale orange spot on the border, that’s all (last photo).
