This exquisite antique ceramic salt cellar features a beautiful multi-color design. Its origins are shrouded in mystery, adding to its allure and appeal. The piece is an original and a true testament to the skill and artistry of its maker, William Davenport (possibly). Its age is also unknown, but its timeless beauty is evident. Made from high-quality ceramic material, this salt cellar is a rare find for any collector of antique and vintage items. Its unique design and intricate details make it a standout piece that will surely draw admiration and attention. Add it to your collection today and own a piece of history. This looks exactly like another found that was made by William Davenport c.1870 the only difference was the markings on the bottom. I purchased this from an estate sale about a decade ago and it has been in my personal collection of cellars and mustard pots. This piece measures around 2 7/8" including lid with finial and is around 1 7/16" in diameter. The lid is silver-plated. There isn't a salt spoon with this one. Thank you for checking out my auctions. I was diagnosed with stage 4 head & neck cancer and had 33 radiation treatments as well as very strong chemo treatments. I am now in remission, but I had to give up my Tree Service business in the process. I am still recovering from the harsh treatments and am forced to sell most of my belongings to help pay the bills. I will do my best to describe these items, but most of the details will be in the pictures. Please don't hesitate to ask questions if necessary, and I will do my best to answer them in a timely manner. I have a vast array of items that I have collected over the years. All used, vintage, and antique items should be expected to have normal wear and tear. I will try my best to list any issues that I know of in the listing. If there are any problems please contact me prior to leaving any negative or neutral feedback and I will try to resolve it if at all possible. I am counting on these sales to help pay my bills and take care of my family so please only bid if you are serious about an item, and intend on paying for the item or items. I have been selling on EBAY for awhile now, but things have changed a good bit over time so please bare with me. I do not ship outside of the US unless through EBAY'S Shipping Program. Other than that happy bidding and good luck!
