100% Genuine Large Otodus Obliquus Shark Tooth Fossil 40mm Presentation Box

These 100% genuine fossilised teeth are from the Otodus Obliquus species of shark, which lived in the Eocene period about 56 to 33 million years old. They were found in the Khouribga phosphate mines located in the Oulad Abdoun Basin of Morocco. This region of land was under the ocean at the time when these sharks were alive but is now in the desert after continental shifts move the area inland.

You will receive one fossil that will be randomly selected and will be similar to the fossils pictured. Each tooth is approximately 40mm long and 35mm wide. As is common with prehistoric teeth, these teeth may have some minor damage as seen in the images.

The fossil is presented in a lovely black cardboard display box, which is 78 x 60 x 25mm, for display purposes and to keep them safe - it also contains an information label describing the contents.
