Super Staffordshire pottery cottage teapot. Octagonal base with  8 arched feet similar to milk jugs circa 1830. 
The cottage with bold stonework picked out in black. Red steps and arches over doors and windows. Tiled roof with foliage.

The glaze is clear over colours similar to a majolica glaze.

Wonderful bright colours to this very bold designed teapot.

No makers marks. Impressed circle to base, Date  c1830 -1860. 

All wear is age related . No repairs, cracks or chips. 

Faults to note, glaze nibbles at spout. Tiny firing crack to one side of spout where it joins main pot.
