This offering is for a Renaissance era dagger reproduction (new). During the Renaissance, edged knives with long, thin blades were in favor with both civilians and military. The dagger being sold here is typical of the type carried by both disciplines. It is over 12” long with a double-edge, stainless steel blade almost 8” long. The handle is polished wood stained black with polished brass guard and pommel. A very nice, tanned leather sheath accompanies the dagger. It is a beautiful piece that is suitable for the collector of Renaissance period weaponry or for use in theatrical/reproduction activities.
