This is a ticket stub (see picture) from GAME 2 of the 1976 NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES, played on October 10, 1976. The CINCINNATI REDS beat the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES by a score of 6-2, and the Reds went on to sweep the series and play in the World Series. Several legends of baseball played in this game. PETE ROSE had 2 hits in 5 at-bats; JOE MORGAN was hitless in 2 at-bats; TONY PEREZ was hitless in 3 at-bats; JOHNNY BENCH had one hit in 4 at-bats; and, MIKE SCHMIDT had one hit in 5 at-bats. GREG LUZINSKI had the only home run in the game. This stub is clean and intact, exhibiting light wear and creasing from handling and storage over the past 47 years. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Reds or Phillies fan or vintage ticket stub collector in your life! Postage is $5.00. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
