Based upon the wresters involved as well as the fact that Mike & Ben Sharpe are featured with their 1950 NWA World Tag Team Championship trophy, this set was produced and distributed in 1950, making it the earliest Sports-only trading card set issued in Canada after World War II and the very first to use the 2.5 inch by 3.75 inch size which would become popular with Bowman Gum in 1953.
