Tea from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, helps to maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range. Yunnan tuocha tea, in particular, has been researched for its health promoting properties. Traditionally, this mild and delicious black tea was used to help promote healthy digestion, especially of fat, and balance health. Green, black and oolong teas, ?ǣcha?ǥ, all are made from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis. Yunnan tuocha tea, however, is one of a few teas known as ?ǣpu-erh cha?ǥ, made from an ancient subspecies of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis assamica. It is grown in the Yunnan province of southern China. ?ǣTuo cha?ǥ means bowl-shaped tea. It refers to the method of shaping the pu-erh tea during drying. Experts recommend drinking three cups of this type of tea every day. Enjoy it hot or iced. Drink it as is, or try adding lemon and your favorite sweetener.

Ingredients: Yunnan Tuocha Tea (Pu'er Cha) Leaf, (Camelia Sinensis Asamica) (2000mg).

Pour one cup of boiling water over a tea bag, let steep 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bag, squeeze gently into cup. Drink 3 or more cupts a day.
