These POM thermoplastic tent pole clips are a very nice, very high quality clip suitable for tent poles up to 9.5mm and strap/ribbon up to 12mm, but unlike most other tent pole clips, they also feature a slot that will accept a guyline, cord or bungee up to 5mm in diameter.
Though they can be used with tent poles from 7.9mm to 9.5 mm in diameter, they do provide a nice, firm snap-fit on 9.5mm tent poles.
Unlike many of the generic tent pole clips available that are manufactured from cheap and inferior PVC that becomes soft and flexible in the heat, our clips are made from a superior quality, tough thermoplastic known as polyoxymethylene or POM for short. POM is stable under a wide temperature range (-40 degrees C to +120 degrees C) and is a tougher more resilient and rigid plastic that does not become soft and pliable in warmer conditions nor become brittle and fail under colder conditions.
