For sale is one left and one right original equipment Intake Control Module Actuator Rods. Also enclosed are 5 new retainer clips from Dorman.  (Dorman part #47099)  You will only need four retainer clips to install the control rods, but you will probably break one or drop one into a place where it will never be found, so I am sending 5 clips.  The straight rod goes in the right or passenger side. The curved rod goes on the left or driver side of the engine.  A good share of the F150's that I see have at least one of these clips broken.   These individual control rods are not sold by Ford unless you buy the complete IMRC Motor Actuator Control Unit assembly for a minimum of $297.00 in my latest internet search.   These control actuators are just a sub assembly of the Ford part listed above and this is what you need to repair your F150.  Codes P2004 and P2006.

Here is a good video that explains the process to replace the entire IMRC Motor, but translates to just replacing the control rods.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1SVQXc0PAw

The issue with the F150's is that the retainer clips become brittle over time and break with use.  The control rods then come loose and fall down and are lost on the roadway.  So if you lost these, someone probably picked it up in their front tire.  Control rods are needed to bring back correct idle control to your F150. I have pulled these control rods from retired cars and I do clean and inspect each of them to ensure that they will within specs and will work properly on your vehicle.  I have sold a lot of these, buy with confidence.  I do not sell anything that I would not put on my own vehicle.

Shipping is free to all points in the USA.  Sorry Canada and international buyers, but I need to charge you $20.00 shipping.  Shipping via US Postal Service.  I ship as soon as I can get to the post office, either same day or the day after payment has cleared.

Quick note on installation:  Install the clips in the servo arms first, then push in these control arms.  Believe me, this is the correct process and there is less change of breaking the new clips.

I do work on my own cars and I understand that parts are needed now, therefore I do my best to ship these very quickly.  See my feedback comments.    I ship all items via USPS Priority Mail and I pay for the shipping.

Thank you for looking!
