The book is an overview of Soviet military aircraft from the period of the cold war.  The author has compiled a listing of military aircraft employed by the U.S.S.R. and described the use of each during the period of latent hostility throughout the world.  Green has assembled a large collection of photograph, the majority beautifully printed in full colour, to support the text.
