Brass Gillette Red Rhinestone Round Brooch With 6 Chain Dangles. This was a brooch my Grandmother wore at the neck of her Sunday dress. I’m guessing it dates from the 1930s. It is two colors of metal filigree. The chains and outside ring is brass colored, while the5 petals inside the ring is silver. The center is a brass color flower set with red rhinestones. There are also red stones between each petal on the outer ring. From the round part of the brooch hang six chains. At the end of the 1 1/4” change is a filigree barrel. The end of the barrel is wet with a red rhinestone. The faceted stones catch the light as they move. The brooch is unsigned. It needs cleaning, as I see some slight discoloration on the barrels that dangle down from the pin.
