100% Genuine Shark Teeth Fossils 30g 50+ Otodus Sand Corax in Presentation Box

These fossilised teeth are from Otodus Obliquus, Sand and Squalicorax shark species. The Otodus Obliquus and Sand sharks lived in the Eocene period about 34 to 56 million years old and the Squalicorax sharks lived in the Cretaceous period about 100 million years ago - the same time as dinosaurs. These fossils were found in the Khouribga phosphate mines located in the Oulad Abdoun Basin of Morocco. This region of land was under the ocean at the time when these sharks were alive but is now in the desert after continental shifts move the area inland.

You will receive 30 grams of fossils (about 50 teeth), which will be randomly selected and will be similar to the fossils pictured. The teeth will range from 10mm to 30mm. Some of the teeth may be damaged as this a natural consequence of fossilisation process over millions of years.

The fossils are presented in a lovely black cardboard display box, which is 78 x 60 x 25mm, for display purposes and to keep them safe - it also contains an information label describing the contents.
