Honshu is a map-building card game set in feudal Japan, where players are lords and ladies of noble houses seeking new lands and opportunities for fame and fortune. Each of the twelve rounds is split into two phases: first, map cards are played in a trick and the highest card lets its player choose first from those played; then everyone uses their chosen cards to expand their personal map and maximise their scoring options.
