The cowboy stands, mouth agape, with his herding dog in the thin light of the moon that covers the landscape. He was awoken from his rest after a hard day of pushing a herd of cattle across the extensive grassy plains. He investigates the peculiar sound with his loyal dog, gun in hand, only to be taken by surprise by something moving in the shadows. The handmade bronze sculpture was cast using the age-old method of Lost Wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. They are mounted upon a black marble base with the artist Aldo Vitaleh's signature.
